Notes for Putnam exam practice meeting in E306, 5pm Friday 10/11/2024. Plan to meet each Friday (except Thanksgiving) until the exam on Saturday 12/7. Tomorrow is fall break, today might be low attendance. After introductions and basic information, we mostly worked on the first 4 problems of real-prac.pdf (problems with reals). At end I asked students to solve at least 5 problems on ss1.pdf I'll put together a new "themed" set for next time (Friday), and try to release problems a few days early.
